There are two types, one with a shelf at the bottom of the adaptor, and one with the shelf at the top of the adaptor, both are fitted slightly different. both are the same price from the same supplier. They both come with pros and cons, see for yourself below. I prefer the second one.

This one is fitted with the cage out of the fascia. The fascia adapter is then put into place in the gap, and the cage is inserted into the adapter. Your stereo goes into the cage, and your outer stereo trim is then placed on top of the adaptor on the ridge provided. | ||

This one is fitted with the cage already in the
fascia. As the cage needs be in the top of the gap, it may be necessary to use
the "tall rear mounting bracket" which is supplied with the adaptor
and slides onto the bracket inside the fascia. Slide the radio into the cage and then simply click the adaptor into place over the top of the radio. The front half of the radio seems to just sit on the outside of the shelf (inside the fascia). |
